An overdraft can happen to anyone for any number of reasons. When mistakes happen, the Bank strives to pay overdrafts on the transactions listed below through Standard Overdraft services:

  • Checks
  • Automatic bill payments
  • Telephone-initiated transfers or other electronic transfers

We do not authorize and pay overdrafts for the transactions listed below unless you authorize us to do so. Affirmative opt-in is required.

  • ATM transactions
  • Everyday debit card transactions

Overdrafts are paid at the Bank's discretion.  Therefore, the Bank does not guarantee that it will always authorize and pay any type of transaction.

If the Bank does not authorize and pay an overdraft, your transaction will be declined
