Do not carry your Social Security Card, or your social security number.
Do not have your Social Security Number or Driver’s License number printed on your checks.
Keep new and cancelled checks in a safe place.
Shred all documents that contain personal information.
Protect you Personal Identification Numbers (PINs) and passwords. Do not write them down or share them with anyone.
